The annual Hundred will be returning in July of this year! Ahead of the tournament, all squads participated in an auction to select players for each team. Charley Phillips (pictured on the left), a graduate of the R66T Academy High Performance Program back in 2021/22, successfully made the Trent Rocket’s Women’s team. Charley, who will be wearing the iconic yellow and red kit, will be playing alongside England Women’s Captain, Nat Sciver-Brunt, with their first fixture against the Birmingham Phoenix on the 24th July 2026 at Edgbaston Stadium.

Her journey to develop her cricket skills to the next level began in 2021, when she first joined the High Performance Program in Adelaide, Australia. Charley underwent coaching from High Performance Director and Joe Root’s former Coach, Shaun Seigert. Commenting on Charley’s huge achievement, Shaun said, “A huge congratulations to Charley Phillips who attended the R66T Academy High Performance Program in Adelaide from Jan -Mar 2022. Its a credit to her hard work and continued development getting drafted into the Trent Rockets for the upcoming women's Hundred competition in the UK. Well deserved and the best of luck.”

This exciting opportunity is the first of many for cricketer Charley Phillips, who we wish the best of luck over her career!
